2.92mm series connectors can be used in DC-40GHz band, which have the advantages of small size, light weight, high frequency and reliable connection. They are mainly used in precision measurement fields such as testing instruments, radar communication and millimeter wave communication equipment. 

The 2.92 mm series connectors are interchangeable with the 3.5 mm series connectors. Compared with 3.5 mm series connector, the 2.92 series connector has higher cut-off frequency and better electrical performance, and is the preferred connector in higher frequency band.
